Assignments, communication, and conduct
Reporting relationships, classifications, shifts, overtime, leave, job assignments, seniority, training, and discipline are governed by the applicable agreement and current employer policies. Follow the established chain of communication, but contact a steward or representative when a matter may involve agreement rights or discipline.
Maintain professional conduct, protect sensitive information, arrive prepared, follow approved procedures, respect craft jurisdiction, and support a workplace culture centered on safety, integrity, trust, respect, brotherhood, and excellence.
Benefits and retirement overview

Review current enrollment materials and official plan communications, and contact the plan administrator, employer benefits contact, MTC representative, or Local 602 when guidance is needed.
Dues, membership status, and participation
Keep dues, membership records, and contact information current. Amounts and payment procedures can change, so use authorized Local resources for current information. Good standing may affect participation and eligibility under governing union documents or benefit plans.
The MTC uses a delegate structure, and Local 602 conducts business through its own meetings and governing procedures. Review official notices and the Local calendar rather than relying on a fixed schedule copied into an orientation page. Participate when eligible and bring proposals or concerns through the correct Local, affiliate, or MTC process.
