How the Local 602 jobs process works
Initial sign-in is available online for Book 1 and Book 2. In-person kiosk sign-in is also available during business hours at the Amarillo and Lubbock halls. After processing, the Member Portal is used for list position, re-sign, job bidding, and contact updates.
- 1Register
Submit the correct Book 1 or Book 2 initial sign-in request online, or use the Amarillo/Lubbock hall kiosk for in-person registration.
- 2Office processing
Local 602 processes the request within 2-3 business days depending on workload and confirms eligibility, documentation, and classification.
- 3Portal access
Once processed, you receive access to the IBEW 602 Member Portal to view your Available-for-Work List position, re-sign, bid on jobs, and update your personal information.
- 4Daily jobs
Available Jobs are updated daily in the Member Portal. Use the portal or LaborPower app to bid on jobs according to dispatch rules.
